1. About these terms

These terms cover your use of darebattle.com and its games (the "Service"), run by DareBattle ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain what information we hold and are part of these terms.

2. What DareBattle is

DareBattle is a free-to-play social gaming website. It offers 39 of our own browser games — slots, instant games such as Keno, Plinko and Diamond Scratch, and themed adventure titles — that you play with a virtual currency called Battle Tokens. The Service is provided for entertainment only:

• Everything is free. Joining, playing, rewards and every feature cost nothing, and nothing on the Service can be bought.
• It is not gambling. There are no stakes of real money, no deposits, no withdrawals and no prizes with real-world value.
• Game outcomes are decided by random numbers inside each game and are for fun only. They don't reflect or predict results in any real-money game.
• The games load inside our pages from our own domain and need a player profile so they can use your Battle Token balance.

3. Battle Tokens

Battle Tokens ("BT") are the only currency on the Service. They:

• are given free — 24,000 BT when you join, a daily dare bonus of 650 BT on day one rising by 275 BT for each consecutive day up to 2,300 BT on day seven, 320 BT × the new rank number each time you rank up, 380 BT for each of nine badges, one free loot crate a day (which always pays Battle Tokens, with a 0.35% chance of the 24,000 BT top reward; all chances are shown on the Jackpot page), and five milestone rounds for launching games 1, 5, 15, 30 and 50 times;
• have no monetary value and are not money, e-money, cryptocurrency, a voucher or a financial product;
• can't be purchased, sold, traded, transferred, gifted or exchanged, and can't be redeemed for cash, goods, services or anything else of real-world value;
• are kept in your browser rather than in your account on our server, so they may be lost if you clear browser data, change device or browser, or if the Service changes — each browser starts with its own 24,000 BT wallet;
• may be adjusted at any time: we may change starting balances, bonus amounts, reward odds, the weekly meter (a just-for-fun display that rises from 2,200,000 to 8,800,000 BT and resets each Monday) and any other feature, or reset balances, without notice.

4. No deposits, withdrawals or cash prizes

The Service takes no deposits or payments of any kind and offers no withdrawals, cash-outs or cash prizes. We will never ask you for card, bank or other financial details. Nothing you win or receive — including meter values, loot crate rewards, milestone rounds, ranks or badges — has any real-world value, and you can't claim any payment or compensation for Battle Tokens or rewards.

5. Fighter profiles

To play you need a free profile. You create one with your first and last name, a screen name, email address, date of birth, country and a password, or with Continue with Google. These details are stored on our server; your Battle Token balance and progress are stored in your browser and can't be recovered by us if they are lost. You agree to:

• be 18 or over and give accurate details;
• keep one profile per person and not use anyone else's;
• keep your password private — you are responsible for everything done under your profile, and we may lock a profile for 15 minutes after five wrong password attempts;
• choose a screen name that is not offensive, misleading or someone else's.

We may suspend or delete a profile that breaks these terms. You can ask us to delete your profile at any time by emailing [email protected] from the address you joined with.

6. Age and restrictions

• The Service is for people aged 18 and over. We ask for your date of birth when you join and refuse anyone younger.
• You are responsible for making sure that using a free social gaming site is permitted where you live.
• The Service is intended to be played in moderation. Optional break reminders and advice are on the Responsible Play page, and you can log out at any time from the player menu.
• The Service may not be used to promote, link to or simulate real-money gambling.

7. Fair play

You agree not to:

• try to sell, trade or get real-world value for Battle Tokens, profiles or rewards;
• interfere with the Service or its games, or try to access them, other players' profiles or our server files without permission;
• use bots, scripts, automated tools or browser manipulation to alter balances, games or rewards;
• copy, reverse-engineer or redistribute our games, artwork or branding without permission;
• use the contact form to send spam, abuse or unlawful content;
• use the Service for anything unlawful.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including our games, artwork, logos and text, belongs to DareBattle or its licensors. Other companies' names and trademarks on the Game Providers page belong to their owners and are shown for identification only; they don't imply any affiliation or endorsement.

9. Availability

The Service is provided "as is". We may change, pause or stop any part of it, including games, rewards and profiles, at any time, and we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss of virtual items, Battle Tokens, progress, profiles or data, or for indirect losses arising from use of the Service. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

11. Changes and contact
